Also, the last 3 feasts take place over a period of 21 days. Isn't that a nice number? They just went through 21 judgments. Wouldn't the fulfillment of the last feasts over 21 days tie that up with a nice pretty bow? Just sayin...

I'm circling back to this again because I just started reading "The Footsteps of the Messiah" and Arnold F. believes the rapture will happen at the Feast of Trumpets. I just don't think so. The first 4 feasts were fulfilled in succession IN THE SAME YEAR. Why would the last 3 feasts not also be fulfilled in succession in the same year? Atonement and Tabernacles will. How does it make sense that the Feast of Trumpets will be carved out by itself 7+ years ahead? AND, the purpose of the Feast of Trumpets is a convocation for repentance. The church has already repented, so why does it make sense to call us to repentance in order to fulfill this feast? To me, it doesn't square. I think the Feast of Trumpets will occur 9 days before the Day of Atonement at the Second Coming. End of rant! 😋😂

I agree with all those points. I tend to lean Terry's way too. And maybe they're not all that far off...I could have misunderstood what I thought Don was saying. What sticks out is that he seemed to make a distinction between all who are saved versus those considered the Bride. The only difference I see is everyone up until the Rapture versus those during the Tribulation. He made some point about only those full of the Holy Spirit who had given their life to Jesus deliberately would be the Bride and those others saved (category of innocence) would not be the Bride even though they are saved. Maybe we can't know the details because it's all kind of an argument from silence, as the Bible is not clear. Thanks for letting me bounce it off you! I may just decide to not worry too much about it. :)

Hey! So, I had never heard of Don Koenig until you mentioned him in a recent post. I've since read a few of his entries and like what he has to say. I was reading some stuff that I hadn't thought about before and wondered if you wanted to address it. It was some comments on one of his posts about children being raptured or not and a reference to 1Co 7:14. And then he specified a difference between those who will be saved versus those who are the Bride. I had never thought to break it all down like that before. Terry James wrote a compelling post on Rapture Ready not too long ago regarding all children being raptured. Don seemed to think that wouldn't be true. I was wondering which way you think. Also, I am baffled by the meaning of 1Co 7:14. I've never really put any study to it. And, I, of course, realize that those saved after the Rapture during the Tribulation won't be considered the Bride of Christ. It had never occurred to me that children likely won't be either, even if they are raptured with believing parents. Makes sense, but I've never really studied the minutae of these details. Wanna tackle it?
