Symbolically it fits as Jesus is the Firstfruits of the dead (in Christ) to have risen out of the ground (on the Feast of Firstfruits). If the Church was born on Pentecost, it would be fitting that it would end on Pentecost (perhaps 2000 years later or 2 days for the LORD). If the Church was conceived on Pentecost, it would make sense that it would be born on Pentecost.
