The Last Normal Day

In a single, soul-shattering instant, the world changed forever. Without warning, millions vanished — drivers mid-commute, pilots in flight, infants from their cribs, children from homes — plunging cities into chaos and igniting fires, crashes, and widespread panic. Emergency lines jammed, power grids faltered, and lawlessness erupted as terrified survivors struggled to make sense of the unimaginable. Of course, this was in the Western hemisphere. The Eastern hemisphere hadn't woken up yet to the unfolding horror show quickly engulfing the nation's capitals. Governments failed to respond coherently, overwhelmed by the magnitude and mystery of the disappearances. As the first fires spread and the first gunshots echoed, it became horrifyingly clear: the Rapture event allows for the floodgates of hell to open up and invade Earth, and the last normal day humanity would ever know just ended without warning.

Gradually, then suddenly

As history has borne out, when disaster strikes, those in its path rarely know they are about to be crushed. Some of the deadliest catastrophes have come with little to no warning, catching entire populations off guard and altering the course of history in mere moments.

  • On August 24, 79 AD, Mount Vesuvius erupted without clear signs, burying Pompeii and Herculaneum in hours, killing thousands.

  • On December 6, 1917, a routine morning in Halifax ended in horror as two ships collided, creating the largest man-made explosion before the advent of nuclear weapons, killing and injuring thousands, and displacing tens of thousands.

  • On January 17, 1995, Kobe, Japan, was devastated by an earthquake with no foreshocks, killing over 5,000.

  • On December 26, 2004, a massive earthquake off Sumatra triggered a tsunami that wiped out over 200,000 lives across Southeast Asia with almost no early warning.

  • On January 12, 2010, Haiti’s capital was flattened in seconds by a catastrophic 7.0 earthquake, killing an estimated 200,000.

  • On March 11, 2011, Japan’s 9.0 earthquake unleashed a deadly tsunami that overwhelmed defenses within minutes, killing nearly 20,000.

  • And on April 26, 1986, Chernobyl reminded the world of the destructive power of human error.

History makes one thing brutally clear: normal doesn’t announce its end ahead of time.

Even man-made horrors like the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001, transformed an ordinary morning into a national tragedy in hours. In each of these cases, the world changed forever—and almost no one saw it coming.

Or did they?

For the observant, there are always signs. Clues. Patterns. Hints.

They start subtly—then become unavoidable. The ordinary trembles, the air thickens, and what once felt routine now feels…wrong.

Prophetically Awakened

For the sake of clarity, we’ll refer to all indicators—whether natural, technological, or prophetic—as “signs of the thing.” These signs are not the crisis itself, but they are precursors. Like smoke before fire, rumblings before eruption, signs point the way to the thing, it is not the thing itself.

The problem isn’t their absence. The problem is that when they begin to show up, they show up all at once.

Throughout history, those who ignored warnings due to apathy or normalcy bias suffered grievously. You’d think we would have learned from their mistakes at the least, but to date, humanity’s track record is one of tragic inevitability.

Noah, a preacher of righteousness, was ignored in his generation—people continued with their routines until the rain began to fall.

“For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark…” – Matthew 24:38

Lot warned his sons-in-law of Sodom’s impending destruction.

“But to his sons-in-law, he seemed to be joking.” – Genesis 19:14

Just as ego will blind a man to his vulnerabilities, normalcy bias blinds people until normal is gone. Laughter turns to panic. Confidence into chaos. But by then, it’s too late.

Pliny the Younger, witnessing the eruption of Vesuvius, described the night before as full of tremors. Yet no one believed the mountain would actually erupt. The signs were there. They just weren’t heeded.

In the same way, spiritual and societal signs today are being overlooked. And as Scripture reminds us:

When they say, ‘Peace and safety!’ then sudden destruction comes upon them…

1 Thessalonians 5:3

Every collapse begins gradually (a crack here, a tremble there), then suddenly.

Human activity—wars, revolutions, cultural shifts—never unfolds in a vacuum. Whether it's an ideological subversion, a financial collapse, or a global war, a plandemic…someone always sees it coming. But few ever listen.

Why don’t they listen? Because ignorance is bliss.

The same applies to natural signs—earthquakes, volcanic activity, cosmic anomalies. The Earth doesn’t act without warning.

For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God. For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it in hope; because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.  For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now. Romans 8:19-22 (my emphasis)

In this age of information, the tragic irony is that the truth is now harder to find than ever.

But that is no accident. As spiritual deception increases, so does the noise. You didn’t think the devil would go down without a fight, did you? Yes, he is the father of lies and murder, but he is also the master of distractions. And we have more distractions these days than in all the previous centuries combined. You’d be hard pressed these days to go anywhere without seeing at least 25-50% of the people with their heads buried in their phones.

Moreover, in this modern version of Babel, it seems our global elite are fully intent on pushing every boundary they can to irrevocably alter mankind all for the sake of “progress.” Whether it’s putting technology permanently into the bodies of every man, woman, and child, or genetically modifying mankind through chemicals (e.g., fluoride in water, ultra-processed foods, vaccines, etc.), pharmakia (e.g., antipsychotics, stimulants, legalization, etc.), and non-ionizing radiation from 5/6G cell towers, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, the average person is being modified no matter what we do. Should the Lord tarry, the next generation is going to have some catastrophic health problems. But back to signs.

Who has time to discern thousands of signs?

Today, artificial intelligence does. And what’s beginning to see is unsettling.

This brings us to a concept developed by the U.S. Marine Corps Combat Hunter program: Left of Bang.

  • Bang = the moment of impact

  • Left of Bang = the window before the disaster

  • Right of Bang = the aftermath

The goal is simple: act before it’s too late. Perceive. Prepare. Respond.

Over the past two decades, various movements—from Tea Party revolts to global populist uprisings—represent attempts to pull civilization back “Left of Bang.” Yet, despite these efforts, we continue moving toward an inevitable reckoning despite the recent political victories.

Donald Trump’s political rise, the deaths or exits of globalist figureheads like Klaus Schwab or Pope Francis, and even the pushback against institutions like the UN and WEF may feel like victories. But if you think the agenda has been defeated—you’re not paying attention. As J.B. Hixon is fond of saying, the “thing” is never about the thing.

You also better believe the Luciferian globalist system has contingency plans. The next leaders will be savvier. Harder to spot. More dangerous. More wicked.

Thus, almost every empire falls the same way: first internally, then externally. This means the nuclear family disintegrates, cultural morality crumbles, and political & financial corruption run rampant.

Children laugh. Stock markets open. Breakfasts are served. Traffic starts to slow.

And then everything changes.

Those alive then will not simply watch the end of one government, one currency, or one nation—they will witness the collapse of Western civilization itself. And prophecy has been warning about this for millennia.

“It was granted to him to make war with the saints…and authority was given him over every tribe, tongue, and nation.” – Revelation 13:7

This global system—the Beast kingdom—is coming. But not yet.

Nevertheless, we are watching its architecture coming together right before our very eyes.

It seems we are in that final, fragile calm before the storm before the Rapture (the Day of Christ) kicks off the time known as “the Day of the Lord.”

The signs are not only real—for the first time in human history, they are converging rapidly. Every war, pandemic, economic crisis, or spiritual apostasy adds to the mounting pressure on an ever-precarious tinderbox we call the 21st century. And just like Pompeii, many today remain beligerently convinced that tomorrow will look exactly like today.

Until it doesn’t.

Somewhere in America, 20XX — Minutes Before the Rapture

Morning broke over America with routine familiarity. Coffee brewed. Subways rumbled. Children fidgeted at desks. Life, in all its chaotic symmetry, unfolded one conversation at a time.

In kitchens, parents packed lunches. In boardrooms, meetings began with awkward small talk. In churches, the staff prepared for night services. The same headlines recycled across cable news as pundits dissected polls no one would remember.

And then—silence. Vanishing. Screams. Car crashes. Sirens. Smoke.

In a blink, millions disappeared. But the true terror wasn’t the event—it was the timing. It struck on a day that looked like every other day before it.

The pre-Tribulation Rapture is called the Blessed Hope (Titus 2:13), but it is only a Blessed Hope for the born-again believers. For the unbeliever, the Rapture event won’t be a disaster. It will be millions of disasters—all happening simultaneously. Planes instantly without pilots. Infants missing from their cribs, children missing from their homes or schools. Gridlocked highways. Power outages. Financial markets crashing. Wildfires. Looting, rioting, raping, and murdering will spring forth without restraint unlike anything the world has ever seen. It will be...

Total. Societal. Collapse.

But the day before that one will be the last normal day.

But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. Take heed, watch and pray; for you do not know when the time is. It is like a man going to a far country, who left his house and gave authority to his servants, and to each his work, and commanded the doorkeeper to watch. Watch therefore, for you do not know when the master of the house is coming—in the evening, at midnight, at the crowing of the rooster, or in the morning— lest, coming suddenly, he find you sleeping. And what I say to you, I say to all: Watch! Mark 13:32-37

For all we know, today could be the last normal day the world ever sees. For the born-again believer, that is not a bad thing at all, it is the ultimate hope we can look forward too. And it's not just this generation's believers who will participate in the Blessed Hope, but believers from today back to that first Pentecost in Acts 2. The Scripture is abundantly clear--if you have been born again anew in Christ, either alive or dead, YOU will take part in the Rapture event.

Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed— in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 1 Corinthians 15:51-52 (my emphasis)

Moreover, since we can't know exactly when Christ will return for His bride, the Church, all I have is one question for you: Are you rapture-ready? Translation: Have you been born again as a new creation in Christ?

But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.” For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Romans 10:9-13 (my emphasis)
