On the burning of wpns some have pointed to nuclear powered weapons being re fit toward energy production. As far as the whole confusion regarding horses etc, Hal L always pointed to the fact that John was plain ill-equipped to put what he saw into words to explain 21st century tech, and had to come up with his best analogies. Maybe those analogies are sometimes based on functions, in this case transportation. Others actually believe the world will be in such a devolved state that horses are the actual mode of transport, but given John’s limitations of his day, it seems more likely to me he gave his best analogous terms

I can't imagine being from John's time and seeing the modern world. Although what he saw in heaven would've overshadowed it!

Just curious Pete about your take on the rising bodies meeting our spirit bodies from heaven. I can find no scripture about that. I read only bodies rising. How do you arrive at this?

For we know that if our earthly house, this tent, is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. 2 For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed with our habitation which is from heaven, 3 if indeed, having been clothed, we shall not be found naked. 4 For we who are in this tent groan, being burdened, not because we want to be unclothed, but further clothed, that mortality may be swallowed up by life. 2 Cor 5:1-4----If the dead are raised (their bodies) and their spirits are already in heaven, it seems to lead me to believe the spirits return with Christ and are joined with their…

About Hamas, ISIS and their fellow travelers: this kind of inhuman behavior--the perpetrators have lost their humanity. Perhaps even lost their ability to repent and receive God's grace. Their cause is pure evil, so their religion is devoted to hating all that God loves.

We’re all pretty sure this is exactly that — Psalm 83, the fulfillment of which would see to the destruction of the people of the spirit you describe. Israel is very likely to suffer in the north losses that may lead to the destruction of Damascus. None of which changes the heart of any believer willing, as He wills, that “none should perish, but that all..”

If there’s even one not on board with the plan to destroy Israel in Gaza or wherever else, PRAY FOR THAT ONE.

I’m praying this is that war, (Ps83) because I want to go home. Israel will likely suffer incredible loss of life in the north. And if this is the Ps83 war, m…

Pete, who were the conservative commentators who spoke against Israel? I think it's important to know. Thank you

Any conservative who A) finds some way to justify or equivocate Hamas actions as 'provoked', B) anyone who thinks we shouldn't stand with Israel in this moment because they don't believe in real history, C) those who are purely looking at this from an American political perspective
