I have an issue with this idea. The rapture is for the church, not for Israel (as a whole). Why would Jesus fulfill a Jewish feast with the removal of the church? There are many references to trumpets in the Bible, so that can't be a good enough reason. Moses made two trumpets. He used the one during the time of the exodus and wandering in the desert. What if the other is the last trump? The one that calls the church home. (Just a thought.)
I tend the think the Feast of Trumpets will NOT be when Jesus comes for the church because it seems to me He will fulfill that feast when he returns to earth in the second coming, specifically for the redemption of the Jewish nation.
Thoughts?
But couldn't Daniel's 70th week start with the Feast of Trumpets? Didn't all of the other weeks end on Shemitah years? So maybe not the Day, but a day of interest, none the less.
