Hey Randy, 'scattering the power of the holy people' is not a reference to the Great Tribulation, it refers to Satan deceiving the nations after the Thousand-Year Reign of Christ. Compare the Saints of the Great Tribulation with the Saints (holy people) of the Millennial Kingdom. The Saints of the Great Tribulation are given into the hand of the Anti-Christ, whereas the Saints of the Millennial Kingdom have thrones and judgement and authority over their dominions. This is the power that Satan will eventually scatter to cause the final rebellion, which then goes straight into the Great White Throne Judgement, like the last part of Daniel 12:2 describes, and Daniel 12:7 is referencing. I'm writing an article on the matter and will post it here when it's ready.

This reminds me of my brother and I. We grew up with the same baptist teaching, but later in life he seems to have drifted into his own set of beliefs. Which is fine, if they weren't a blend of preterism, replacement theology and Israel denial. To talk to him now is to get the same ration of scripture with his own twist. Not sure that he can be reasoned with, only prayed for. The Holy Spirit convinces like none other.

There are two more sections that I will add when I get back. I forgot to add the explanations for how the metrics are found in scripture along with the biblical precedence for them.

I agree... Several months ago I realized that the Rapture / Second Coming / 1000-year Reign timing is laid out by the template found in Leviticus 23. As you indicated, the Rapture would be year 1, the Second Coming of Christ would be year 10, and the 1000-year Reign of Christ would begin in year 15. All 3 of the measures mentioned in the previous post converge in 2037, which would be the start of the 120th, 89th, and 70th year (as described above), which concludes with the Second Coming of Christ. From the past moving forward, and from the future moving back, there are a number of measures from the 7049 Timeline that converge on 2037 for the Second Coming of Christ. I can share those as well, if you're interested. So, it works out to: Tishrei 1 (Rapture) - September 2028 (6029AM) Tishrei 10 (Second Coming) - September 2037 (6038AM) Tishrei 15 (1000-year Reign begins) - September 2042 (6043AM) Anyway, that's 'My Educated Guess' (MEG). Not trying to start an 'imminence' debate. LOL

I agree that Christ could not have been born after the death of Herod since he is part of the narrative of the nativity story, which is part of scripture and inspired of the Holy Spirit. From generation to generation, scripture has been proven trustworthy. We must be very careful when weighing the truth from secular sources, especially if they seem to conflict with God's word. Archeologists are making discoveries all the time, and rewriting decades of 'historical fact'.
