Elohim (singular) is most often used in reference to the God of Israel, but it is also a"place of residence" term (singular). Eg. Demons, angels (sons of God) and spirits of human dead are 'elohim' in a spiritual realm while we currently reside in the physical, human reality plane. Once we receive our glorified bodies and are ruling and reigning with Jesus, will we too be 'elohim'? (Appreciation to scholars like M. Heiser and D. Gilbert)
