I went to see Top Gun: Maverick this weekend, and even as an old Army helicopter guy, I had to admit it was a great movie. I didn't realize the movie was actually finished in 2020 but was kept from release until movie theaters were back to normal (or as normal as they would ever get). Thus far it appears to be heading towards blockbuster status, and I think, aside from the fact the movie was exceptionally well-done, the reason for its success is its a) lack of wokeness, and b) plays on American nostalgia to see ourselves as a force for good again in the world. While the patriot side of me would love to see this happen, my Christian side knows it never will.
Pastor J.D. Farag used to say (and perhaps still does) that all the prophetic events we see going on in the world today have shelf-lives. In other words, each prophetic event must come to its inevitable conclusion sooner rather than later because of its time-sensitive nature. The reason why they must, is because they have crossed some sort of threshold or rubicon, where, once crossed, cannot be undone. To this point, there is a convergence of numerous geopolitical, religious, economic, and technological redlines, which have either been crossed or are on the verge of being crossed into their proverbial and prophetic points of no return.
I mentioned last week in the article, "Running Out of Normal," that normal life is on the verge of becoming extinct. This week, we'll focus just on the things that propel mankind into an irreversible momentum into the prophetic territory. Just like the creation of gun powder, mastering manned flight, splitting the atom, and creating the Internet forever altered the nature of modern civilization, so too will these events forever change the future of humanity.
1. National Debt
As you can see from the chart above, this isn't the first time the US has exceeded the national debt-to-GDP (Gross Domestic Product) ratio in our nation's history. In fact, most of US economic history has operated in the red (in debt). However, the difference in previous generations (pre-WWII), was that we were largely isolationist in nature. Even in the WWII era (+/- 15 years), the US was largely a manufacturing and agricultural-based economy. However, in 2022, we are not.
In 2022 we are primarily a service-based economy with limited agricultural strength and an almost minuscule manufacturing base. We have shipped those manufacturing jobs overseas and leaned heavily into both service and technology-based industries. We began playing fast and loose with our status as the world's reserve currency, financing things we knew (even 30 years ago) we could never afford. Unfortunately, we've run out of road in which to kick the proverbial can down, and now we are at the threshold again of major financial decisions. Keep the US Dollar (USD) on life support, risking sudden death any day now, or move to a globally-based digital currency.
As technology has raced ahead, the world realizes it can no longer depend on a stable USD. We are far more vulnerable today than we have ever been in the past. Unfortunately, this vulnerability includes energy dependence, which puts us in an even more precarious situation. What is not captured in the chart below, is the unspoken true debt our nation has wracked up, with the total national indebtedness around $90T and unfunded liabilities peaking around $169T. This is the debt that is not borrowed from Japan or China but borrowed from our children and their children.
Even at $30T, the US has entered into the largest debt-to-GDP ratio in our nation's history. Pairing that bleak reality with the weakest currency and most lopsided energy/manufacturing/agricultural dependency we have ever been in, should the Lord tarry, our nation (as designed) will not survive. This is why they (the Western Global Elite) are so desperate to push this Great Reset because they know the whole system is about to come crashing down.
2. Iran's Nuclear Ambitions
For the past 20 years, the Islamic Republic of Iran has been actively attempting to build and obtain nuclear weapons. Unlike other nuclear-armed nations (i.e., France, China, North Korea, etc.) Iran's Shiite theocratic leadership's sole purpose for obtaining a nuclear bomb is to use it on the nation of Israel. Since the leadership of Iran is overwhelmingly "Twelver" Shia, they believe it is their duty to sow chaos in the world to invoke the return of their Messiah-like Mahdi who has been in hiding since the 9th century.
A significant portion of this religiously-motivated terrorist agenda has been dedicated to destroying Israel and reclaiming what they consider Palestine for Islam, hence their repeated attempts to strike or finance terrorist strikes against Israel. Despite setbacks over the years (Stuxnet, various political and military assassinations, etc.) it would seem they are now at the finish line. It appears they have achieved enough enriched uranium to create a nuclear weapon. Adding to their progress, Iran has made significant strides with both their cruise missile and drone technology (aided by China and Russia) to achieve their intended delivery goals.
Of course, Israel will never allow a nuclear-armed Iran to exist (and has said as much publicly), thus, the fact Iran has reached this capability already means the likelihood of an imminent attack by Israel (with Arab support) is not a matter of if, but when. And when this attack occurs, it will invoke (IMHO) the justification (pretext) for the coming Gog-Magog War.
3. Artificial Intelligence
In the very near future, mankind will cross the most significant technological threshold since the creation of the Internet; the creation of a sentient system with artificial general intelligence (AGI). This means we will have created a computer system/program reaches a human-like capacity to think and reason. While most experts believe we are still a few decades away from this happening, they also tend to ignore our recent explosion into numerous academic fields (nanotechnology, quantum mechanics, etc.) with breakthroughs often happening unexpectedly, leapfrogging technology years (and even decades) ahead of projected timetables.
Here is why it is going to happen sooner rather than later. Most (if not all) of these same experts either forget or purposefully ignore the existence of the spiritual domain. They ignore the reality of when and how malevolent forces can and will use AI as a means to further deceive mankind. Since they don't believe in the spiritual world, they never factor this into their elaborate calculations.
However, we know several things from both Scripture and history. The first is that the demonic realm is very active and they can and will possess people. Secondly, if a demon can possess a person, they can most certainly possess a 'thing.' There have been numerous occurrences amongst Facebook's, Google's, and other big tech AI "chatbots" when allowed to communicate with each other, they quickly begin communicating in a language no one understands except themselves.
Furthermore, these AI entities (when allowed to operate on their own) appear to be malevolent, racist, and just plain creepy. Nevertheless, humans are pressing on to not only create these systems, but create increasingly human-like robots to house the AI system. When they do, these systems will convince mankind that they have achieved some great feat of creating artificial life (insisting we have become like gods...) further deluding mankind into self-worship. Elon Musk even made a warning saying this rush to create AI was "summoning the demon."
How truly self-aware this AI system becomes, is another question altogether because it could be that whatever system this happens to, simply becomes "possessed" by demonic entities masquerading as artificial intelligence. I mean, we've all seen shows where physical items become "cursed" because they have some demonic entity attached to them, how much more could it be if a quantum computer system or robotic humanoid becomes cursed?
We've also seen demonic entities pretend to be extra-terrestrials with growing observability. We've seen demonic entities possess physical items and haunt places. So it's not out of the realm of possibility that a demon/s would possess some quantum-based computer system pretending to be an AI preparing to guide humanity into our next 'evolutionary' step vis a vis transhumanism. Perhaps the reason no one can figure out who the Antichrist will be is that he will be a resurrected historical figure placed into a robot body (i.e., Caesar, Alexander the Great, even Jesus) and will lead the world after the Rapture of the Church?
4. Declining Birth Rates
When any nation drops below the 2.1% birthrate threshold, it has crossed the rubicon for its nation's replacement birthrates. In other words, more people are dying than being born and have reached the point where they can no longer replace the next generation. When a nation drops below the 1.7% birthrate threshold, it becomes an irrecoverable trend. This is not just an American problem, but a global problem as nations around the world are all struggling to bring up their declining birth rates.
According to the new data, the birth rate in the U.S. decreased more than 6 percent in the last quarter of 2020 compared to the same time period in 2019. The data includes statistics from December 2020, which would have been when babies were born if they were conceived during the beginning of the pandemic.
Yet demographers are not sure if the decline has to do with the pandemic, or if the data is following a larger trend that has surfaced over the past couple of years. Indeed, last year marked the sixth year in a row births in America declined. The CDC said the U.S. birth rate is so low that the country is "below replacement levels" — which means more people are dying than being born. (Source)
The obvious implications are that should the Lord tarry, and should our nation continue on its current deflationary trajectory (with respect to a shrinking vibrant workforce), the US would soon reach an aging population with fewer workers in the workforce, fewer generating income (and taxes), with increasingly more draws on health and other federal resources. This means a nation will soon collapse. This is why immigration has been weaponized, and why borders are not going up. Without illegal immigration, our birthrate is actually much lower.
5. Weapons of Mass Destruction
After witnessing the first nuclear explosion on July 16, 1945, Robert Oppenheimer, the father of the atomic bomb, infamously said, “Now, I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds.”

All delusions of grandeur aside, we have (since 1945) arrived at an age where mankind could potentially destroy the earth many times over. While Mr. Oppenheimer's contribution toward this development certainly sped up that particular potentiality, the earth's destruction is solely in the hands of its Creator, not its creation. Nevertheless, we know prophetically there are scenarios that seem to fit with the nature of nuclear warfare (Ezekiel 39:6, Zech. 14:12, Matt. 24:22).
There was another saying that goes something like "we've never created a weapon that hasn't been used." If that saying is true, and it likely is, the chances of accidentally (or intentionally) using some terrifying new weapon have increased dramatically given the number of nations (around 34) today who possess terrifying capabilities with nuclear, chemical, and biological weapons of mass destruction.
6. Death and Taxes (or Health and Wealth)
Closely aligned with the previously mentioned national debt-to-GDP ratio, is the strength of a nation's currency. For nearly 3,500 years, mankind has been limited to the use of physical items (i.e., barter, physical currency, precious stones, metals, etc.) to serve as currencies to exchange goods for services. We are now in an age where the physical currency is no longer something you hand to another person, or to a financial institution, but rather, is a series of ones and zeros on a computer screen. Once a nation no longer physically controls its physical currency (ex. gold, silver, cash, etc.), it becomes increasingly reliant upon whoever manages the 'ones and zeros.' What is even more troubling, is understanding that this new digital currency is programmable.
Given the current amount of problems we have with digital information (i.e., hacking, cyber-attacks, deep fakes, cybercrimes, etc.), this does not invoke a great deal of trust in things to come. Perhaps the vulnerability of cyber financing is such that it requires the cyber currency to be paired with the physical user in a cyber-physical way that ties someone's genetic identity to the system. Perhaps in a 'mark' of some kind that is etched into or under the skin. Perhaps our recent compulsion into government-mandated mRNA 'treatments,' was such, to prime our genetic systems for such an endeavor. After all, Moderna's mRNA approach and slogan is The Software of Life.
In a 2017 TED Talk, Dr. Tal Zaks, the chief medical officer at Moderna Inc., explained how the company’s mRNA vaccine was designed to work. Over the last 30 years, he said, “we’ve been living this phenomenal digital scientific revolution, and I’m here today to tell you, that we are actually hacking the software of life, and that it’s changing the way we think about prevention and treatment of disease.”
Interesting to note that just as mankind arrives at a time when fiscal currencies are increasingly going digital (i.e., non-physical information), we also have genetic breakthroughs in medical treatments that require reprogramming our DNA. The human genome (DNA) which serves as the human information storage center, has vast, untapped potential to store MASSIVE amounts of data. Since DNA storage already exists, where the limiting factor comes in is in accessing it and using it on a daily basis. However, I have a sneaking suspicion that this hurdle will be quickly solved almost immediately have the Rapture of the Church.
7. Dimensional Gateways
For all the truly scientific purposes CERN officials may have for their massive hadron super collider, there is one that is truly concerning. Certain CERN officials have been on record saying one of the purposes was to open a doorway so that we may send something through, or by it, something might come out. I think the latter is going to happen and when it does, there will be no way in which to close it. Perhaps this will reach its fulfillment in Revelation 9:1-11.
8. The Harlot Religious System
What we are seeing today is the rapid disintegration of the Judeo-Christian worldview within Western Civilization. Flooding in to fill this vacuum, is the rise of the post-modern worldview, which is relativistic, humanist, and pagan. This worldview has all but abandoned the concept of "absolute truth," and since Christianity is the ultimate truth, it too has been all but abandoned.
Immediately following the Rapture of the Church, in a world now devoid of the Holy Spirit-filled Church (i.e., the body of Christ), what will remain is a hollowed-out version of the Christian-In-Name-Only religious system that will seek to find common ground with the remaining world religious systems. The gravity of the crisis (the Rapture) will be the cause du jour for which the remaining religious systems unite in the wake of a post-Christian western civilization.
This means Wiccan, Islam, Hinduism, Mormonism, Luceriferianism, all forms of paganism, cults, and Eastern Mysticism (i.e., Buddhism, Shintoism, Zoroastrianism, etc.) will be blended into an all-encompassing religious organization much like the new Higher Committee of Human Fraternity, the World Council of Churches, and the Roman Catholic Church. It will tolerate all lifestyles and religious views, except, true, biblical Christianity.
My belief is that right after the Rapture will be one of the greatest revivals in the history of the world based on passages found in Revelation 6:9-11 and 7:9-17. While the post-Rapture world governments will be in some disarray shortly after the Rapture event itself, they will quickly begin to form into regionalized, imperial governments that throw their support into legitimizing the only accepted religious system, and that will be this new "Harlot" system headed up by a man known only as The False Prophet. He will lead the charge in targeting and killing the Tribulation Saints and will ultimately, direct all worship to His boss, The Antichrist.
Furthermore, we know this headquarters will be built in the Middle East, in what Revelation 17 states as being a revived city of Babylon. The late great Clarence Larkin has some interesting thoughts as to why it's here as opposed to Rome or anywhere else.
The river Euphrates, on which the city of Babylon was built, was one of the four branches into which the river that flowed through the Garden of Eden was divided, and Satan doubtless chose the site of Babylon as his headquarters from which to sally forth to tempt Adam and Eve. It was doubtless here that the Antediluvian apostasy had its source that ended in the flood. To this center the ‘forces of Evil’ gravitated after the Flood, and ‘Babel’ was the result. This was the origin of the nations, but the nations were not scattered abroad over the earth until Satan had implanted in them the ‘Virus’ of a doctrine that has been the source of every false religion the world has ever known. Seeing how the International community is already racing ahead to complete the Abrahamic Family House (Chrislam) in Abu Dhabi by the end of 2022, means we are very close indeed to seeing the stage being set for a Tribulation-based global religious system.
9. Global Governance
As the world races towards global governance, they are doing so being aided and abetted no less by a complicit corporate and technological oligarchy on their leash. It seems the only thing holding everything back, is the "unwashed masses of MAGA-ites," who themselves are pinning all their hopes and dreams on flipping both houses of Congress in the fall of 2022. While that may in fact happen, the global elite knows all they have to do is create another pre-manufactured global crisis and our government will fold like a cheap lawn chair on a windy day. I know if Trump had been allowed to stay in office, we would have already been handed our newest global crisis when they begin the collapse of the US Dollar. Once the US Dollar falls and a digital one replaces it, the gig is up.

The World Economic Forum (WEF), a.k.a. the Davos Gang, held its 2022 schmoozefest in that tidy Swiss alpine village last week, after a nearly three-year hiatus on account of the coronavirus pandemic they generously arranged for the rest of us. These are the self-defined leaders of the Great Re-set — Klaus Schwab, Bill Gates, and Klaus’s scaly majordomo, Dr. Yuval Noah Harari, the inverse reincarnation of Adolf Eichmann, famous for declaring that “humans are hackable animals.” Did he mean, like, with a meat cleaver?
Who do these schnitzel-scarfing, Krug-guzzling punks think they are? Or, to paraphrase the immortal words of one Pete Hogwallop, who elected them boss of this outfit?
Nobody, that’s who, on this whole, wide, ever-turning world, which they literally aim to take over. Actually, from the way they talk, it already looks like they’ve hijacked the sucker and us “worthless” and “useless” humans on it, as Dr. Harari has labeled the multitudes riding the planet in economy class. Kind of looks like we’re in for a rough landing. (Source)
10. The Normalization of Evil
Given the fact that the month of June has been hijacked by most of the governments and corporations in the world to now represent "Pride Month," I thought it appropriate to include this as the final straw on the camel's back for the normalization of evil. In Proverbs 16:18, the Bible says that pride always goes before destruction and a haughty spirit before a fall. That being the case, we are headed for destruction very quickly.
Transgendered bathrooms, transgendered high school, and college sports. The normalization of pedophilia (i.e., Minor Attracted Persons, children's drag shows, Disney, etc.), the legalization of abortion all the way up to and through the delivery of the baby, lawlessness in our cities and on our borders, mass killings, World Economic Forum (WEF) sanctioned corruption and land wars, genetic editing, election fraud ignored (see 2000 Mules) and the fact our Justice Department refuses to action any evidence it disagrees with regardless the overwhelming amount of evidence of fraud and corruption. The official targeting of young children for grooming and indoctrination (CRT, SEL school curriculum, Social Justice, etc.). Mandatory governmental gene therapy mandates.
Conclusion
I could go on and on about the evil we face day in and day out, but I won't. What I mentioned above is not what the average citizens of the world are doing; I'm addressing what our governments are sanctioning as the new normal. I guess my only question is what sin will we as a human race finally reach before God will have had His limit (i.e., a tower of babel moment)? I don't know, but our leaders are suicidally intent on finding out. We just need to remember that we, like Lot, are increasingly living daily with our souls being vexed (2 Peter 2:8). But just like Lot's day (and Noah's before him), there is a limit to God's longsuffering. God will not allow this to go on for much longer. PT Forsyth had a terrifying quote (terrifying for the lost, not the redeemed) that bears repeating here.
“The non-intervention of God bears very heavy interest, and He is greatly to be feared when He does nothing. He moves in long orbits, out of sight and sound. But He always arrives. Nothing can arrest the judgment of the Cross; nothing shake the judgment-seat of Christ” (PT Forsyth in The Justification of God)
And like them, we too are slated for our own deliverance from this fallen and broken planet. We just need to hold on a little longer. I can say with reasonable assurance, that as a collective body of watching believers, we can see that day approaching. Even though we can't know the day or hour, we can know we are in the season of our Lord's return.
But concerning the times and the seasons, brethren, you have no need that I should write to you. For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night. For when they say, “Peace and safety!” then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape. But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief. You are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness...For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us, that whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with Him. Therefore comfort each other and edify one another, just as you also are doing. 1 Thessalonians 5:1-5, 9-11
