Missed questions

Sandy Grubb: Have you done any hiking today?

Pete: No, I'm still pretty sore today. I need to get back in shape. But heh, round is a shape right?

Steel Magnolia: Will you identify the 7 kingdom parables you referred to in Matthew 13?

Pete: See below

Lynette C: What are your thoughts on Messiah 2030?

Pete: Great videos and insights, however, the presenter is post-Trib and seems to be painting himself in a box by saying the 2nd Coming has to happen by 2030. We shall see!

Dawn Diskin-Holland: Ever since you mentioned seeing Nefarious, I've tried to find...but can't. Is it only at the theater?

Pete: It's still in theaters, but it's coming to video to rent/purchase on June 2nd.

Christy Eade: Hi Pete, do you think we’ll be here long enough for the church to go underground in the US?

Pete: It kinda feels like it's starting to go that way right now should the Lord tarry. If we do, it will be very brief, only because if that happens, it means our Constitutional Republic has collapsed, which means our civilization (the American way of life) has collapsed. However, I'm of the belief that the Rapture triggers the collapse to start the domino effect around the world.

Rose Duron: Question: do you think the dreams Muslims have had of Jesus appearing to them and converting to Christianity are real?

Pete: I do.

Justus Kessler: In Luke 12:47-48, who is Jesus referring to that is receiving a beating? Does this refer to believers?

Pete: No. We are forgiven all of our sins. He will not beat someone who is covered in His blood, let alone His bride the Church.

the master of that servant will come on a day when he is not looking for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in two and appoint him his portion with the unbelievers. Luke 12:46

And that servant who knew his master’s will, and did not prepare himself or do according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes.48 But he who did not know, yet committed things deserving of stripes, shall be beaten with few. For everyone to whom much is given, from him much will be required; and to whom much has been committed, of him they will ask the more. Luke 12:47-48

The question we have to ask is, what is the will of the Master??

To believe in the One whom He sent.

Lanette RR: In John 20:22, when Jesus breathed upon the disciples were they saved and sealed by the Holy Spirit in that moment? If so, what exactly transpired on the day of Pentecost?

Pete: Yes, those disciples in the room (presumably just the 10, minus Thomas and Judas) were sealed by the Holy Spirit. But those on the day of Pentecost were all the disciples (120), and it was a visible demonstration of the power of the Holy Spirit inaugurating the beginning of the Church age.

Debbie Dolan: Chuck Missler talked about the battle of Jericho being an outline for revelation but he didn't elaborate. Can you comment on that?

Pete: I'm not familiar with this particular teaching of his, but I will say that Chuck (whom I had lunch with once) was way ahead of his time. I don't presume to put words in his mouth. Here is his video on this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i_nl9Bwzsbs

Lanette RR and Paperdolloy227: I like to ask all pilots...Do you believe the earth is flat or a globe?

Pete: It's actually donut shaped. Jk. Would be cool though!

In all seriousness, I don't believe in a flat earth. I think the most obvious reason why is that no other celestial body is flat either. The moon isn't flat. The sun isn't flat. Mars. Venus, etc. So all the other celestial bodies are spherical but the earth is flat?

Lorarn209: When do Christians who survive the tribulation and go into the millennium get their glorified bodies?

Pete: Tribulation saints survive the Tribulation and enter into the millennium (along with saved Jews) with their natural bodies. This will be essential for restarting the population on the earth. This means they will presumably, receive their glorified bodies at the end of the thousand years.

Professing Preterist: Daniel 12:7 WHO are the holy people and why is their power completely shattered?

Pete: Context is everything. Who are the people Dan 12 is talking about? The key phrase is "your people." Whose people? Daniel's people, the Jews. According to Zechariah 13:8, two-thirds of the Jews will be killed in the Tribulation (i.e. Daniel's 70th Week). We see in Zechariah 12:10-14 that the blindness (Rom 11:25) is finally lifted and they cry out for Jesus as their Messiah.
