I remember being burned by the “88 Reasons” pamphlet, so I have since been wary of anything resembling a date setting. I am interested in this Tish B’Av rapture speculation, however, and trying to keep my enthusiasm in check.Regarding the first temple’s destruction: Ezekiel was shown a vision of God’s glory departing the temple prior to its destruction. Is there a way to calculate how much time passed from this Departure of God to the time of the temple’s destruction?
Back from Tennessee, and we were glued last night. So much Tish B'Av bubble...it's never seemed so wonderfully-yet-horrifyingly real. ("It is a dreadful thing to fall into the hands of the Living God." Hebrews 10:31). Thank you for a wonderful interview. I've never known how far to go with the Enoch/Jasher/extra Biblical...but I love how you handle it.
Fascinating interview! Especially the part about the Mark of the Beast. Only recently God opened my eyes to why people who will take the Mark will not be able to be redeemed. Their human nature will be altered. And Jesus will not be able to save them, even if He wanted to. He came to save humans and those with the Mark will stop being 100% human. At least that's my opinion. Thank you Pete for your teaching! God bless you and Tom!
Thanks Pete and Tom! That was great again! I just had the best conversation with my son, he lives in CA. He's saved but he is not a watchman. He knows I am and we have the best conversations! These kind of talks, like with you and Tom, are reminiscent of talking with my kids. You have a much more fluent way of putting things which helps me past it along! God is sooo good all the time! And lately I've just been "happy" and "joyful"! Nothing seems to get me down! I love it! Thanks again. You are all doing a fantastic job of telling His story! Can't wait for the next installment!👵😇
I've noticed that you read the comments section of your website, probably a rare phenomenon! I hope you will read my comment here.
Will you humor me briefly regarding the nature of the mark of the beast?
It’s been my preferred theory too that the mark is more than a simple visual token of allegiance, but that it produces a fundamental change in the bearer which excludes them from the program of redemption.
It made the most sense that that change might be in our coding, and that the nature of the change would be such that the “humanness” of the mark-bearer would be forfeit. Christ became a human man t…
I would take it to mean if you die not having accepted the free offer of salvation, you have in essence died rejecting the Holy Spirit…prior to death, salvation through accepting the gospel is always available…
