This was such a blessing to me. Like Lee, my heart and soul yearns to be in a cabin in the woods! His story really hit home for me because we lost our cabin too, twice. Both times we had found a perfect log cabin in a gorgeous setting, and made an offer, and had it accepted, and started moving forward with the real estate transaction...and both times the deal fell apart due to circumstances beyond our control, most recently when my husband lost his job due to his employer's vaccine mandate. No job = no financing approval from the bank = no cabin. We knew when he refused the vaccine we would lose his job and the cabin, but…
